I just ordered a double sleeping bag, his and hers flip flops for the campground showers, and some new camp pillows.

A little nervous about camping with a baby. What kind of container do you keep him in when he's in the tent? Harbor Freight sells a soft-sided pet container with zipper doors and mesh screen windows for about $30.00. Seriously thinking of buying it as a baby campbed and containment unit.

We may rent a minivan (horrible thought), but if we're bringing the huge tandem kayak in its bags (way too big to cartop that distance on the 850) we'll need the additional space.

She's doing well. Her church is having a huge women's conference T, F and S this week, so she that has helped her to stave off the negative emotions. Once that is done and we head North is could be different.
