IMHO McCain is trying to play it cagey. He knows that any criticism of Obama, no matter how justly deserved, is going to be turned into an attack on Obama's race. He DOES have to play a careful game, but I would like to see him be a little more aggressive.
O has remained staunchly against drilling in the U.S. even though most Americans now favor it. McCain needs to blast him AND the rest of the dems on this. I sent an unsolicited email to the RNC suggesting that they tie all of the house and senate candidates together by having them sign a new
Contract With America stating that they would push for domestic oil production when elected.
O appears to be totally out in left field regarding the progress being made in Iraq. Mac needs to point out again that it was his surge proposal that allowed this progress, while O would have pulled out in defeat months ago.
Lastly, I would like Mac to attack O's judgement, or lack there of. O has associated himself with a racist preacher that he praised in his book, a real estate developer now in the pen for influence peddling, a sixties radical bomb thrower that has publicly stated he
didn't bomb enough buildings and he wouldn't rule out further bombings in the future.Mac may have an October surprise in the wings, or he may be letting the people get to know this Obama flake a little better in the hopes that they won't like what they see. In either case, the media is
not doing its job of vetting the candidate.
