FT and I took the kids to the theater tonight to see Wizard of Oz live on stage.
What a great time!! I believe FT and I enjoyed watching the reactions of all the kids surrounding us just as much as the play. The most asked question of the night (which I think I heard every 5 - 10 minutes) "how did they do that?" "That was cool, how'd they do that?"
I wish they had some sort of behind the scenes tour. I would pay just to see that.

Thanks! Wow. I'm not used to being liked. Feel free to post comments on the blog. Nice thing about Wordpress is it allows me to permit commenting by anyone. You don't have to do that bogus sign-up-for-an-account before you can comment or view stuff.

pic of ft on shore sitting in chair- brought back random memory of "visit" to Mississippi after Katrina.
while "touring" the coast of what was once a resort area that was flattened- noticed a man on the beach in a chair much like FT's. Only diff was this gentleman was naked looking out over the water awaiting the sunset I supposed. (very surreal moment for me)

It was most definitely NOT Fat Tony! The last time I went to a nude beach, folks kept pouring buckets of water on me and trying to push me back into the ocean. "The white whale...the white whale is stranded". It was very embarrassing. (AND the do-gooder S.O.B.s spilled a very rare barley wine I was enjoying at the time!)
"I yam what I yam, and dat's all what I yam" Popeye
"And I ain't gonna apologize." Fat Tony

Important information if you ever happen to be w/ MD family near any kind of water: If you hear any of the MD children yell "WHITE WHALE!!" at the top of their lungs, do not under any circumstances look in their direction. Someday, I will learn this and quit catching glimpses of their bare white butts just as they dive into the water.
In all honesty, the assorted Mexican foods know that they will be beaten severely if they ever attempt this w/anyone outside of the family. Lucky me!! :x

For all of you more computer savy folks......

Several times in the last couple of days our computer protection program (McAfee) has been popping up warnings that our computer is at risk. I open the window that pops up to show the problem and it says SystemGuard protection is disabled.
Can someone enlighten me??????
I have had to "fix" this problem at least a dozen times today and many times in the days previous!
I'm just now getting the hang of posting smilies here people so stay on laymans terms with me!

Short Answer: They want you to BUY something, namely in this case SystemGuard. Symantec and most of the paid for others do the same thing. That's one way they make their money.

Being a tightwad, Loggie doesn't use the paid stuff. He uses the free or almost free stuff.

One system is called AVG and it can be found on the Kim Komando website.

Loggie regularly refers to and sometimes uses programs recommended by Kim Komando. She is on nationwide radio and her website is http://www.komando.com be careful in the spelling because you can get some weird stuff. Kim is straight up legit and does NOT spam or put your name/info out to some maillist folks.

What these programs do is attack adware, spyware and some act as virus cleaners depending on what you get.

Loggie has had only two or three komando programs not work out so well (compatibility, memory hogs, and what not). The rest have worked quite well thank you.

8-)
